To me it is critical to fully investigate the product behind the design so that I can understand gaps, dependencies, and future business goals that might be necessary to consider when designing. I consider long-term goals and scalability with my designs, and I enjoy getting a variety of perspectives in order to gain the greatest understanding of the problem that is being solved for. Designing for a bank requires the ability to understand complex products, which makes the UX process more challenging and therefore more fun and rewarding.
